Update on Career Connect Northwest (CCNW) Leadership & Snohomish STEM’s Ongoing Commitment to Career-Connected Learning in Snohomish County

Snohomish STEM’s Role in Career Connect Washington (CCW)

As Career Connect Washington (CCW) enters a new biennium with a revised funding structure, we want to provide an update on the Career Connect Northwest (CCNW) Regional Network.

Snohomish STEM has been a regional partner in the CCW initiative since its early days in 2018, originally working alongside Workforce Snohomish, the initial Regional Network grantee for our region. Since 2021, Snohomish STEM has served as Co-Director of CCNW, championing and connecting Snohomish County’s students, employers, educators, and community-based organizations.

A Change in the CCNW Leadership Structure

Due to significant statewide funding reductions to CCW Regional Networks, the Northwest Educational Service District 189 (NWESD189) has decided to discontinue the co-director structure with Snohomish STEM. NWESD189 will now serve as the sole grantee for the CCNW Regional Network.

Snohomish STEM’s Ongoing Commitment to Career-Connected Learning

While Snohomish STEM will no longer serve in a leadership role under the new CCNW structure, we remain the trusted convener and leader in career-connected learning and future workforce partnerships in Snohomish County.
