Regional Apprenticeship Pathways (RAP) Gains CAREER LAUNCH Status
Congratulations to the Regional Apprenticeship Pathways (RAP) program for gaining official Career-Connect Washington CAREER LAUNCH status. Housed and Managed at the Marysville School District, this youth apprenticeship program partners with Everett Community College and several other school districts, trade unions, and city governments to provide intensive training and preparation for young people interested in becoming apprentices.
Career-Connect Washington considers CAREER LAUNCH programs to be the most intensive type of career connected learning. Endorsements like this are only provided to programs that combine meaningful, high-quality on-the-job experience with aligned classroom learning leading directly to in-demand industry credentials.
This is a great honor for RAP and its partners and a testament to the STEM-rich collaborative work being done in Snohomish County to develop our future workforce. Kudos!
