Snohomish STEM can help provide short-term direct interactions with professionals and offers opportunities to explore career options that motivates and inform students’ decisions about future career experiences.

Spring into STEM!
From hands-on experiments to interactive displays, families enjoyed a dynamic learning experience. ‘Spring into STEM!’, now completing its 8th year, was made possible through the collaboration of various community partners, including educational institutions, local organizations, and public services. A big thanks to all who contributed to fostering early learning and creating opportunities for multigenerational community engagement. In April 2024, 700 students participated in the exciting exploration of STEM activities, sparking curiosity and a passion for science and technology. Thanks to all involved for fostering early learning, multigenerational community engagement and showcasing amazing local Snohomish County organizations at Imagines Children’s Museum!
ECHO Tour
Exploring Careers and Healthcare Opportunities (ECHO) is a careers exploration program that offers interactive, multi-disciplinary experiences through a variety of learning opportunities to students interested in pursuing careers in health care. At our March 2024 event, we engaged 422 high school students with 92% of students surveyed increasing their knowledge of the healthcare sector and 84% of students increasing their interest in pursuing a healthcare career. We are now expanding this dynamic career exploration program to 8th-grade students for one day only in October 2024 and will continue to engage high school students in March 2025. STEM Like Me!®
The Snohomish STEM Network’s local career exploration program, ‘STEM Like Me!®’, brings the excitement of STEM careers directly into classrooms offering hands-on activities and interactions with professionals from various fields. Student survey data showed a 76.8% increase in knowledge of STEM careers and 48.05% increased desire to pursue a STEM career! This past school year (2023/2024), Snohomish STEM and Career Connect NW brought a variety of local STEM professionals to five schools, engaging over 500 students.
