Mission and Vision

Mission:
To engage community, education, government, and industry in fostering a STEM-skills learning pipeline for the 21st-century workforce. Our aim is to increase STEM awareness, develop essential skills, and maximize impact for all students, providing local businesses with a talented workforce and driving prosperity in Snohomish County.

Our Network has three goals to support our mission:

  1. Catalyze regional stakeholder partnerships, collaborations, and strategies.
  2. Increase equity and access to high-wage and high-demand career opportunities.
  3. Support coherent career pathways, workforce readiness, and a strong cradle-to-career pipeline of future talent in Snohomish County.

Vision:
Our vision is a future where every student, inclusive of background, gains the skills and opportunities for thriving careers in innovative industries, healthcare, technology, aerospace, manufacturing, and more, contributing to a vibrant and equitable 21st-century workforce where possibilities are boundless.

Who We Are

The Snohomish STEM Network is comprised of an Executive Leadership Council and a working Representative Council. Members of our councils are respected leaders from K-12 schools, higher education, industry, and public and nonprofit sectors.
